What is Cov Cares? 

Cov Cares is a movement to create a caring community across the city. We want to show our city that we care, and we need your help. We believe that our community deserves to be connected and have a strong sense of belonging.

Who is behind Cov Cares? 

We are businesses and organisations in Coventry that want to make a difference in Coventry. We want to build a network of gathering spaces that truly care about the community. Last year we held the first ever Cov Cares awards. This year our mission is to shine a light on cafes and other gathering spaces that truly care about connection and belonging.

This is a call to action for anyone who lives in Coventry and...

• Has Time to Give: Whether it's an hour a week or more, every bit helps in driving our mission forward.

• Wants to Use Their Skills for Good: If you have talents and are eager to contribute, we need you!

• Is Civic-Minded: Someone who is dedicated to making Coventry a better place for everyone.

• Cares Deeply About Coventry: Your love for our city can help inspire and mobilise others.

• Aims to Help Others: A genuine desire to support and uplift the community is at the heart of our movement.

• Is Linked to Different Groups and Communities: Your connections can help bridge gaps and build a stronger, united Coventry.

Skills We're Looking For: don’t worry we are not expecting you to have all of these! 

• Social Media Savvy: Help us spread our message and engage with the community online.

• Networking Guru: Build and maintain relationships with key businesses and community members.

• Public Speaking: Share our vision and rally support at events and gatherings.

• Meeting Host: Facilitate meetings both in person and online to keep our initiatives on track.

• Strategic Thinker: Someone who can see the bigger picture and help plan long-term goals.

• Creative Mind: Whether it's writing, photography, videography, or designing with Canva, your creativity is needed.

• Kind and Positive: A friendly and optimistic attitude can make all the difference.
